國(guó)際兒童節(jié)

　　The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland proclaimed June 1 to be International Children's Day in1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the International Children's Day: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year.

　　1925年，在瑞士日內(nèi)瓦召開的關(guān)于兒童福利的國(guó)際會(huì)議上提出將6月1日設(shè)為“國(guó)際兒童節(jié)”。至于為什么是6月1日這個(gè)日子并沒有一個(gè)準(zhǔn)確的答案。一種說法認(rèn)為是由于1925年，位于美國(guó)舊金山的中國(guó)總領(lǐng)事將一群中國(guó)孤兒召集在一起慶祝端午節(jié)，而當(dāng)天正好是6月1日。

　　The holiday is celebrated on 1 June each year. It is usually marked with speeches on children's rights and wellbeing, children TV programs, parties, various actions involving or dedicated to children, families going out, etc.

　　每年的6.1兒童節(jié)，人們通常會(huì)以發(fā)表關(guān)于兒童權(quán)利、福利的演說，播放兒童電視節(jié)目、舉辦各種派對(duì)、活動(dòng)，舉家出游等方式慶祝。

　　國(guó)際兒童日

　　Universal Children's Day takes place on November 20 annually. First proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954, it was established to encourage all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and secondly to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world's children. Universal Children's Day is preceded by International Men's Day on November 19 creating a 48 hour celebration of men and children respectively during which time the positive roles men play in children's lives are recognized.

　　國(guó)際兒童日是每年的11月20日，1954年的聯(lián)合國(guó)大會(huì)上，這個(gè)節(jié)日的提出是為了推動(dòng)所有國(guó)家都設(shè)立一個(gè)專門的日子來：首先，促進(jìn)各國(guó)兒童之間的交流和溝通;其次，通過采取行動(dòng)來提升各國(guó)兒童的福利。國(guó)際兒童日在國(guó)際男人日(11月19日)隨后的一天，在48小時(shí)的兒童節(jié)和男人日的慶祝中，男人在兒童生活中的重要意義得到認(rèn)可。
